Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Cricit, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use Cricit. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet this minimum age requirement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account and for maintaining the security of the Apple ID used with Sign in with Apple. Notify us promptly at hello@cricit.app if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Sign in with Apple

Cricit uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. Your use of Sign in with Apple is also subject to Apple's terms and privacy practices.

5. Cricket records you enter

You enter match, scorecard, and profile information into Cricit. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you log. Cricit does not verify every field you submit.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Cricit unlawfully or to infringe others' rights
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, including by automated abuse
• Reverse engineer or misuse the app except where permitted by law
• Upload unlawful, harmful, or misleading content

7. Ownership of the service

Cricit, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by us and our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the service to you.

8. Your cricket records

You retain ownership of the cricket information you enter. To operate Cricit, you grant us a limited license to host, process, display, back up, and transmit that information solely to provide the features you use, including synchronization, statistics, and requested insights.

9. Premium subscriptions

Cricit may offer premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions sold via the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew unless canceled according to Apple's rules at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Current products, durations, and prices are displayed by the App Store inside the app and may vary by storefront. We do not list fixed prices here.

Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting your Cricit account does not necessarily cancel an Apple subscription.

Refund requests are handled under Apple's applicable processes. See Apple's refund support article.

Unless you later publish a custom end-user license agreement, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to App Store distribution.

10. AI-generated insights

Optional AI insights are generated from records you have logged. Output may be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for informational purposes only. Cricit does not guarantee improved cricket performance and does not provide professional coaching, medical, legal, or financial advice.

11. Service availability

We strive to keep Cricit available, but the service may change, pause, or become unavailable from time to time for maintenance, updates, or circumstances outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

12. Suspension

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or used the service in a way that creates risk or harm.

13. Account deletion

You may delete your account in the app through Profile > Settings > Delete Account. Deletion is separate from canceling an Apple subscription.

Upon account deletion, your cricket profile and match records will be removed from our active systems within 30 days.

14. Third-party services

Cricit relies on Apple, Supabase, RevenueCat, OpenAI, and other providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cricit is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Saadrey Digital Solutions or its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the service; or (iii) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content. In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the greater of one hundred Canadian dollars ($100 CAD) or the amount you paid us, if any, in the past twelve months for the services giving rise to the claim.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to resolve any dispute or claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service.
